What is Spiritual Metaphysics?
I have been studying Metaphysics among other things for over 35 years and I still get lost sometimes. We as humans have a hard time with things or concepts we can not actually see or put our hands on.
If you were like me, you grew up with a religion that told you what to believe, so as time went on and religion no longer felt right, then what?.
We were not trained to envision other possibilities. I know for me there was a lot of peer pressure against change. I have come to realize that there is no one answer. We can not put it into a box and label it a certain way. It is different for all of us. Just like we all look different or have different personalities
God or the Universe will be special and unique for each of us.
The one thing that is a constant are the Natural Laws of the World or Universe. These can not be changed. The sooner we learn to use and accept them the more Peaceful and content we will become.
Because we grew up with certain concepts of these natural laws we have no problem accepting them as Natural. Some of these Natural Laws would be Gravity, Fire and Electricity.
The Bible states it this way. The universe obeys certain rules—laws to which all things must adhere. These laws are precise, and many of them are mathematical in nature.
Natural laws are hierarchical in nature; secondary laws of nature are based on primary laws of nature, which have to be just right in order for our universe to be possible.
But, where did these laws come from, and why do they exist? If the universe were merely the accidental by-product of a big bang, then why should it obey orderly principles—or any principles at all for that matter? Such laws are consistent with biblical creation.
Natural laws exist because the universe has a Creator God who is logical and has imposed order on His universe (Genesis 1:1).
We see these every day without realizing it. Objects fall down not up, water freezes when cold, round things roll, trees bend in the wind. We do not question these or maybe even realize that these are Natural Laws. Then why do we and I include myself in this have a hard time accepting others.
The spiritual world is all around us, yet we cannot touch, taste, see, or hear it. The spiritual world is where subtle energies come together into powerful forces that directly affect our lives. Everything originates in it. The only limitations we face are the human body. Spiritual Metaphysics has no boundaries.
THE POWER WE HAVE WITHIN US.
"WE have within us a power that is greater than anything that we shall ever contact in the outer, a power that can overcome every obstacle in our life and set us safe, satisfied and at peace, healed and prosperous, in a new light, and in a new life. Mind, all Mind is right here. It is God's Mind, God's creative Power, God's creative Life. We have as much of this Power to use in our daily life as we can believe in and embody. The store house of nature is filled with infinite good awaiting the touch of our awakened thought to spring forth into manifestation in our life; but the awakening must be on our part and not on the side of life. We static! at the gateway of limitless opportunity in the eternal and change-less NOW. Now is the day in which to begin the new life that is to lift us up to the greater expression of all that is wonderful. The word that we speak is the Law of our life and nothing hinders but ourselves. We have through ignorance of our real nature misused the power of our word, and behold what it has brought upon us, "the very thing that we feared." But now it shall produce a new thing, a new heaven and a new earth."
Ralph Waldo Emerson stated: “The universe is the externalization of the soul.” So how do we change or comply with these natural laws?:
There is no easy answer. Who we are today predisposes us to certain actions. The way we grew up molds our thoughts, feelings, and desires that spontaneously arise in us under certain conditions that mostly out of our control.
Sigmund Freud stated:
That most of us are controlled by subconscious impulses.
Spiritual Metaphysics For Life!
So how we see the world and why we are not making the most out of these laws may not be entirely our fault. There are many hidden influences in our lives. Every thing we do effects the spiritual realm. What ever we hold in our hearts materializes and either gives us joy, or hope or suffering. We all will have to come to terms with ourselves and learn to use these laws to our advantage. Spiritual Metaphysics is a process.
For me, I have mostly learned to let go of the past, limit my expectations of the future and do my best today.
If I take care of today, tomorrow will take care of it self.
